Why Klood? By recording this album I wanted to pay an homage to my great musical guru, Claude Debussy. I gave him this new name which allows me to see him in this new, albeit not at all revolutionary, perspective. It is said Claude loved to improvise on out-of-tune pianos to get some creative stimuli. To experience even just a touch of a similar path and to thank him for his precious lessons, I decided to record my own take on untempered, imperfect upright piano.
I would like to give special thanks to my beloved wife Gosia and daughter Julia, they made me believe in this project. Thanks to city of Krakow for the creative scholarship, which allowed me to record all the material.
Also, thanks to Stefan, Bartek, Goran, Julia, Staszek & Justyn, Justyna & Kuba, Mikołaj & Magda, and finally my ever-supportive Parents.

Skąd Klood? Nagrywając ten album chciałem złożyć subtelny hołd mojemu muzycznemu guru, Claude’owi Debussy’emu, którego przyoblekłem w to nowe imię i nową, choć wcale nie rewolucyjną perspektywę. Ponoć Claude uwielbiał improwizować na rozstrojonych pianinach, co stymulowało jego proces twórczy. Aby dotknąć podobnej drogi i podziękować mu za jego wkład w mój rozwój muzyczny, zdecydowałem się zarejestrować własne ujęcie niedostrojonego, usterkowego instrumentu.
Szczególnie dziękuję mojej ukochanej żonie Gosi i córce Julii, które na pewnym etapie przywróciły mi wiarę w ten projekt. Dziękuję miastu Kraków za wsparcie w ramach Stypendium Twórczego, dzięki któremu zdecydowanie łatwiej było mi zrealizować nagrania.
Dziękuję też Stefanowi, Bartkowi, Goranowi, Julii, Staszkowi i Justynowi, Justynie i Kubie, Mikołajowi i Magdzie, oraz zawsze wspierającym mnie Rodzicom.
